What is WBSSC Group C Cancelled List?

Honorable Justice Gangopadhyay had ordered the Commission to release the list of 57 alleged candidates within two hours on Friday 10.03.2023 . The case was revisited at approximately 3:15 pm.
After Jusice order, the Commission released two lists. One contained information about 785 “recommended” candidates in relation to the third Regional Level Selection Test for group C positions in 2016.
The second list that was released contained information of 57 candidates who allegedly secured group-C positions without receiving any recommendation from the Commission.
In the hearing that was on 03:15 PM, honorable Justice Gangopadhyay ordered the cancellation of recommendations for 785 candidates and 57 alleged candidates. As per the Justice, these group-C workers will not be permitted to enter the school from Friday.
After passing the order, justice observerd that “
“The fruits of this corruption have gone in favour of some influential people in the commission and the state education department,””
As per justice, commission should start filling the vacant positions resulting from the termination from the waiting list within the next 10 days.
Additionally, Justice Gangopadhyay instructed the Commission and the board to guarantee that no salary should be credited to Group C employees after this case.

terminated the service of below mentioned 57 candidates in Gr-C posts in connection with 3rd Regional
level Selection Test (NT), 2016.
